Lorna Britton

Lorna J. Britton 61-year-old resident of Brainerd, MN passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 13 at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Lorna was born on February 23, 1958 in Brainerd, MN to Raymond and June Carner. She was united in marriage to Roger Britton on September 21, 1974 at the Salvation Army Church in Brainerd. Lorna enjoyed attending concerts, going to the casino, playing cards, and playing bingo. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the times they spent together. Lorna is survived by her husband, Roger Britton; mother, June Carner; sons, Roger (Kristina) Britton, Korie Britton, Christopher Britton, Matthew (Jennifer Gakin) Britton; grandchildren, Zachary Britton, Mitchell Britton, Chloe Britton; siblings, Judy Maske, Virginia Borg, Tom (Debbie) Carner, Ronald (Peggy) Carner, Rick (Lillie) Carner, Loren Carner, Dale (Diana) Carner, Anita Chamberlin-Carner; cousins; nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Carner; and brother, Virgil Carner. Arrangements are with the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd.
