Lynn William Erickson

Lynn William Erickson, age 82, of Verndale, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, in Staples at Lakewood Health Care System. Lynn was born in Bertha on July 27, 1941, to Earl & Hildur (Gustafson) Erickson. He married Janice Zamlich in San Franciso, California on September 18, 1965.

Lynn served his country in the US Air Force. He worked in Telecommunications for 38 years, at Western Electric and Telepro Technologies. Lynn was a member of St Fredericks Catholic Church, Farmer’s Union, LRO, England Prairie, DFL, and the Verndale Historical Society.

Lynn loved spending time collecting old tractors, wood working, gardening and coin collecting.

He is survived by his son, Christian (Kasia); step granddaughter, Vernonica.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jan; son, Todd Erickson.

Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn and his son, Todd will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11AM at St Frederick's Catholic Church in Verndale. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass, Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in St Frederick’s Catholic Cemetery.
