Margaret Prindle

Margaret Prindle, age 101, of Baxter, MN, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Baxter.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples, MN.

Margaret was born on May 14, 1924, in Staples, MN, to William and Marie (Angstrom) Wiltrout. In 1943, she married the love of her life, Glenn Prindle. She worked for 17 years at Scott’s Store in Brainerd, where she was a valued and familiar presence.

A talented and creative woman, Margaret enjoyed sewing and quilting. She especially loved making embroidered children’s clothing alongside her daughter, Sandy — a cherished shared passion.

Margaret is survived by her children, Gerald (Sharon) Prindle and Sandra Pancoast; grandchildren, David and Darren Prindle, Julie Teal, Tammy, Deborah, and Shawn Pancoast; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Prindle; grandson, Daniel; and six siblings.

Arrangements are entrusted to Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home, Brainerd.
