Marie Elaine Thompson

Marie Elaine Thompson, age 81, of Brainerd, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Carefree Living in Brainerd. Marie was born in Brainerd on March 27, 1943, to Pete & Mary (Carner) Hines. She married the love of her life, PeeWee Thompson on May 18, 1962.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 62 years, PeeWee; daughter, Kimberly (Tim DeRosier) Thompson; son, Troy (Becky) Thompson; brothers, Emil (Maxine) Hines and Butch (Mary) Hines; grandchildren, Kelsie (Aaron Warner) Stromberg, Brandon Thompson, Tyler (Megan Schmaltz) Erickson, Carlie (Andy Terwilliger) Thompson and Austin (Ashley Maroney) Erickson; great-grandchildren, Rain, Taiton, Riley, Kein, Izabel, Eiton, Max, Korbin, Ozmond, Jackson, Harley, Oaklynn and Oden.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 5-7PM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center.
