Mark Martin Petersen

Mark Martin Petersen, age 59, of Baxter, passed away unexpectedly at the University of Minnesota Hospital on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Mark was born in Minneapolis on October 19, 1962, to Dr. Richard & Gladys (Smith) Petersen. He married Connie Anderson and they raised their family in the Brainerd Area. Mark worked at Home Depot for 7 years as a manager in the Rental Department.

Mark loved motorcycles and baha-ing in his Jeep. He had a passion for Lego and has a huge collection of pieces he has built throughout the years. Mark also really liked blowing stuff up.

Mark will be forever missed by his loving wife, Connie; children: Baretta (Melissa) Barker-Petersen, Christina (Adam) Johnson and Natalie (Brent Amerud) Petersen; siblings; Richard (Kathy) Petersen, Jason (Kirsten) Petersen and Zoe Petersen; 13 grandchildren; best friend, Bradley Lewis, furry companion (favorite child) Xam.

A gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 4-7PM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center.
