Mary "Jo" Pollock, 69 of Pillager, MN passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. A Celebration Of Life for Jo will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Taylor Funeral Home in Staples, MN. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM with services beginning at 2:00PM. Jo was born on February 7, 1952 in Staples, MN to Woodrow "Woody" and Shirley "Margie" Shake. She grew up on the family farm in Leader, MN and graduated from Motley High School. Jo was a lover of antiques, four wheeling, tending to her beautiful flower beds, and was an absolute great cook. She was a lover of any wildlife and loved feeding them in her yard. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with them. Jo is lovingly survived by her son, Codee (Alexis) Pollock; grandson, Cain Pollock all of Pillager, MN; siblings, Betty (Steve) Lorber, Denise (Steve) Bickford, and Larry Shake all of Motley, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Travis; parents, Woody and Margie; four siblings, Gary, Steve, and Sherry Shake and Emily Tholl; and one great niece. Jo will always be remembered for her love of her family and how much she lived life to the fullest. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Travis J. Pollock, 39, of El Cajon, CA passed away on April 24, 2021 at his home in California. He was born on November 18, 1981 in Staples, MN to Tim and Jo Pollock. Due to the size of the Leader Town Hall where Travis's Celebration of Life was being held, family has changed the location of services for Jo and Travis to Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Taylor Funeral Home in Staples, MN. Travis, a Marine Combat Veteran who served two tours was a connoisseur of life and all it could offer. His passion for music and travel was limitless. As an entrepreneur he enjoyed collaborating with others to makes visions come to light. His compassion for others allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. He is greatly loved and sadly missed by all that knew him. Military honors for Travis will be held at the funeral home after the services. Memorials are preferred.
