Mary Knott

Mary Lou Knott, age 89, of Baxter, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Crosslake at Whitefish Assisted Living. Mary was born on August 21, 1932, in Waverly, Iowa to John & Ruth (Allen) deNeui. She married Roy Knott and together they had two children. Mary was a faithful and active member at Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved to paint ceramics, quilt and a good Christian romance novel. Mary and Roy enjoyed their fishing trips to Lake of the Woods. She especially enjoyed her dogs. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Julie (Brian) Anderson and Steven Wolff; grandchildren: Joseph (Nicole) Anderson and Jillian Anderson; great-grandchildren: Melody, Cadence and Aria. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Roy; brothers: John deNeui and Bill (Norma) deNeui. Services for Mary are pending.
