Max Louis Tasche

December 1, 1935 — January 3, 2022

Max Louis Tasche, age 86, of Brainerd, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 3, 2022. Max was born in a farmhouse on December 1, 1935, in Hutchinson, to Virgil & Kirstine (Johnson) Tasche. Max was a wonderful, devoted and loving husband and father. He encouraged people to do their best and that was all he expected. Max never met a stranger, and he loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved camping, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He was a terrific trouble shooter, making things work that seemed impossible to fix. He was involved in the Prison Ministry at the St Cloud facility. He was always helping anyone in need and enjoyed the blessings of giving. Max was raised on a farm and had a grade A dairy farm. He worked as a welder, an electrician apprentice, maintenance for Satellite Industries, until he finally received his dream job of delivering new pump trucks. After his retirement he drove dealer trades for car dealers. Max is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rita; children: Vince (Michele) Tasche, Bruce (Tawnya) Tasche, Gwen (Scott) Wilcox, Heath Tasche, David (Raylene) Eisele, Jon (Sandy) Eisele and Karl Eisele; sister, Norma Halberg; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his children’s mother, Beverly Kosek. Max is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Rex and Roy; sister-in-law, Pat. A service for Max will be held this summer.
