Megan Marie Stanich

Megan Marie Stanich age 39 of Brainerd, passed away on April 1, 2024. She was born in Crosby, Minnesota on August 28,1984, to Gaylene (Zauhar) and Dale Parks.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gaylene (Zauhar) Parks; grandparents, Albert and Shirley Parks and George and Jean Zauhar; uncle, Edwin Brodmarkle; nephew, Mac Parks; grandmother-in-law, Marcella Stanich.

Megan is survived by her husband, Shaun Stanich of Brainerd; dad, Dale Parks of Brainerd; brothers, Greg (Jolene) Parks and Chad Parks both of Brainerd; aunts, Linda Walters of Brainerd, Carol (Leroy) Marsh of Florida, and Jill Brodmarkle of Baxter; many cousins; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Delores Stanich and father-in-law, Greg Stanich of Ironton; brother-in-law, Doug Stanich of South Dakota; sister-in-law, Teresa Catlin of Crosby; grandmother-in-law, Ruth Turner of Brainerd.

Megan enjoyed shopping, traveling, being with friends and family, watching various types of tv shows, creating jewelry, going to the shooting range with her husband, and her favorite place to go for a night out was Applebee’s for half priced appetizers. Megan had a great personality and loved to help others when needed. She will be greatly missed and will always be loved.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Lum Park.
