Mitchell Albert Braith

Our beloved son, Mitchell Albert Braith, left us way too early at the young age of 24 on Wednesday, March 27,2024.

Mitchell was born on October 18,1999, at Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN to Scott and Cindy (Sjodin) Braith. Mitchell graduated from Staples High School in 2018 with high honors. He then went on to complete two years at CLC College in Brainerd and obtained his AA Degree with High honors too.

Mitchell was a very knowledgeable individual who enjoyed computers, history, hunting, guns, art, and DC Comics. Any question he was asked he would always find the answer-he loved to research. He was a great conversationalist. Mitchell was a very sweet, loving, tender hearted and compassionate man that was greatly loved and will be missed by many. All who crossed paths with Mitchell in this life, know the truly wonderful soul he was, and they were blessed to have known him.

Mitchell is preceded in death by his grandpa, Jim Sjodin.

Mitchell is survived by his parents, Scott and Cindy Braith; sister, Topanga Braith; grandma, LaDonna Sjodin, grandma, Kay (grandpa Dave) Jessop, grandpa Terry Braith; fur buddy, Peanut; aunts and uncles, Misty Sjodin, Tory Sjodin, Chris (Denise) Sjodin, Ty Sjodin, T.J. (Mandie) Braith, and Kyle (Jenny) Braith; also many cousins and good friends.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mitchell will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, a visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples and one hour prior to the service at the church.
