Myrtle Pickar

Myrtle Elsie Pickar, age 88 of Sebeka and formerly of Brainerd, passed away in Sebeka at Providence Villa. Elsie was born in Nisswa, to Robert & Myrtle (Curtis) King. She was a chef, and worked at various places including, LaGuyal’s, Harold’s Club and the hospital.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Linnie (John) Crenshaw, Charles (Cathy) Pickar, Claude (Carmelene) Pickar, Clarence (Ruth) Pickar, Dennis (Cheryl) Pickar, Teresa Torgerson and Jerry (Barb) Pickar; sister, Joyce Smith; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Pickar; second husband, Lloyd Pickar; 8 siblings.

A memorial service for Elsie will be held at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 11AM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
