Nancy Jean Dancer

Nancy Jean Dancer, age 72, of Royalton, passed away at the St Cloud Hospital on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Nancy was born in Little Falls to Leo & Valeria (Horvath) Peka on May 15, 1951.

Nancy graduated from Royalton High School in 1969. In December of 1972, her daughter Nicole was born. Nancy joined the Minnesota US Army National Guard, she was a proud American Solider.

Nancy married her "Smootchie" Alan Dancer, on May 1, 1987. They shared 36 years of fun adventures. Nancy loved horses, racing cars, country music and her grandkids. She was an amazing artist, she made beautiful paintings and ceramics.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Al; children, Nicole (Rick) Burski, Greg (Tammy) Dancer, Andy (Kayla) Dancer and Amy Dancer; siblings, Karen Herbes, Lora (Jim) Bartkowicz, Paula (Tim) Theisen, Dan Peka, Buck (Julie) Dancer, Steven Dancer, Kaye Dancer, Kristy (Dave) Bester, and Gene Doeden; grandchilden, Tyler (Ashley), Drew, Eric, Grace, Dylan, Daniel, Landon, Adeline, Lillian, Collin and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Miles, Millie, Iana and Isaiah; nieces and nephews.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tim "TP" Peka; sister-in-law, Denise Doeden.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 11AM at Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at Riverside Cemetery in Royalton, followed by a luncheon at the Legion Post #137.
