Patricia Ketchmark

Patricia Ann Ketchmark, age 81, of Garrison, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2023. Pat and her twin sister were the youngest of eight children born on the family farm in Moose Lake, MN on October 11, 1941, to Felix and Helen (Kowalczyk) Shusta. She married Eugene “Butch” Ketchmark on July 14, 1962 in Split Rock Township, MN then later moved to Minneapolis to raise their three children.

Family and friends meant the world to Pat, she loved entertaining and visiting with people. Pat enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing with a cocktail in hand and polkas playing in the background. She also enjoyed taking those yearly bus trips to the casino with her husband and friends. Pat adored her cat, Leo and was best known for her amazing cooking and being a diehard Vikings fan. Pat was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Garrison.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 61 years, Butch; son, Jay Ketchmark; daughter, Jackie Binkiewicz; granddaughters, Brooke and Haylee Binkiewicz; brother, Theodore (Diane) Shusta; sister, Florence Sipsas; sister-in-law, Shirley Shusta; and many nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Joesph Eugene Ketchmark; siblings, Frank, Anthony, Joe, Mary and twin sister Carol.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church 27332 Central St, Garrison, MN 56450. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass. Interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
