Patricia R Lane

Patricia Rose Lane, age 80, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Essentia- St Joseph’s Medical Center. Pat was born on April 9, 1941, in Brainerd to Hilton & Marie (Ruckdaschel) VanSickel. Pat worked as a caregiver her entire life. She started out as a daycare provider, went on to work with special needs children within the school district, and then became a “grandma” to the group home residents where she worked until 78. Pat loved her family more than anything, which include her 3 fur babies, Tinkerbell, Titi, and Itsy Bitsy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Sue (Dan) Timblin, Jim Lane and Kim (Mike) Thomsen; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Pat will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one-hour prior to the service.
