Paul L. Swanson

Paul L. Swanson was born on May 14, 1933 in North Branch Township to the late Carl and Virginia (Rystrom) Swanson. He grew up in Spring Lake, MN and attended school in North Branch, MN where he graduated from high school. Paul was united in marriage to Ernestine “Dolly” Almquist in 1957. He was employed by FMC as a mercury driver for his entire career. After retiring he and Dolly moved to Brainerd, MN in 1994 where they enjoyed their retirement years. While residing in Brainerd, MN Paul attended Lakewood Church. He was an avid fisherman and dearly loved animals, especially cats. In 2019, Paul moved to Woodbury, MN to be closer to his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Paul is survived by son, David (Susan) Swanson of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren, Kristofer and Adeline Swanson and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by wife, Ernestine “Dolly” Swanson, parents, Carl and Virginia Swanson; and 5 siblings. Services for Paul will be held at a later date.
