Phyllis Marie Roberts

Phyllis Marie Roberts, age 100, of Brainerd, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Phyllis was born in Brainerd to Walter & Edna (Berg) Marquardt on August 24, 1923. She married Leslie Roberts at Zion Lutheran Church on August 30, 1941.

Gram’s loved to Bake, cook, can, and be surrounded by her family for all events or just coffee time. She also loved to travel and fish in Canada and was quite the fisher lady, her last trip to Canada she was 95!! She caught Northerns on this trip. Phyllis also loved flowers and gardening. She was a very busy lady but never too busy to sit and listen or chat. She was always there if you needed her for anything. Phyllis also loved watching movies and knowing all the personal information of the actors, who did they marry, how many kids did they have? She lived and she was loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Keith (Jan) Roberts and Les (Mary) Roberts; brothers, Charles (Janice) Marquardt and Marlin (Mary) Varpness; grandchildren, Jason (Peggy), Mindy, Shon, Alicia, Lesli (Mark) Debra (Mark) and Ben (Amy); many great-grandchildren.

Phyllis is preceded in death her parents; beloved husband, Leslie; siblings, Bryant, Gloria and Orville.

Services for Phyllis will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd, Minnesota on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00AM. Visitation will be 1 hour prior at the church. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd, Minnesota
