Ricky Beach

Ricky Darol Beach, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, in Pillager, MN. Rick was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Brainerd to Virgil and Beatrice (Hines) Beach. Rick was a very talented upholsterer and took great pride in his upholstery work. He could upholster anything from boats, car interiors to household furniture. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or renew. He was employed many years at Custom Upholstery and Awning in Brainerd. What he loved most was his boys and grandchildren. Rick is survived by his five boys, Ricky (Bobbie), Ryan, both of Brainerd, Nick (Mindi), Tanner and Shane, all from Hudson, Wis.; daughter-in-law, Wendy from Brainerd; grandchildren, Blake, Baylie, Kaylin, Kaci, Karter, Konnie, Jenna, Emma, Jackson, Sommer and Cole; great-granddaughter, Stella; brothers, Darwyn, Pillager, Sherman (Cleo), Baxter; sister, Patty (Fred) Spencer, Billings, Mont.; many nieces and nephews .Rick is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie; brothers, Rex and Dennis Ball. Memorial service for Ricky will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home, BRAINERD CHAPEL with gathering from 11:00-1:00 pm also at the funeral home.
