Robert William Larson

Robert William Larson of Arizona, and formerly of Bertha, MN, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2021, at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California. Bob was born on July 8, 1957, in Bertha, Minnesota to Oliver & Nina (Grow) Larson. Bob owned and operated Larson Farm Service from 1986-2000, was a Radio Announcer for KWAD and worked as a substitute teacher, along with various other occupations. Bob was active in the Bertha, Hewitt, Verndale and Wadena areas even after moving to Arizona and will be missed by many throughout the community. Bob is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Larson) Knight and her husband Alex Knight; grandchildren: Zackary and Zoelle Knight; siblings: Richard Larson and his wife Elsie Larson, and Beverly (Larson) Prather; girlfriend, Mary Cypher; stepsons: Justin Lind and Jason Lind; stepdaughters: Lacey (Lind) Fitzgerald, Karen Waldof and Becky (Waldof) Heinz; many stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, sibling Susan (Larson) Edenloff and her husband David Edenloff. A funeral service for Bob will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 11:00am at the Verndale Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at The Wadena City Cemetery on Monday, August 16, 2021.
