Robert Lenk

Robert James Lenk, age 68, of Browerville, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Robert was born in Staples on September 9, 1954, to Joseph & Christine (Etzler) Lenk. He worked as a tool and die maker for McKechnie for 44 years.

Robert married Gayle Lee, on November 24, 1979, and together they had two sons. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, traveling, camping, motorcycle trips, farming, deer hunting and tinkering on projects. He was an avid tractor and gun collector. Robert was a smart man; he designed and built their family home. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 43 years, Gayle: sons, Michael and Matthew (Lianna); grandchildren, Lilianna and Tobias; siblings, Jerry Lenk, Adeline Jasken and Linda Barke; brother-in-law, Douglas (JoAnn) Lee; nephews, Bernard Jasken , Nathan Thiesse, Jason (Chelsea) Lee ; nieces, Tiffany (John) Lynn, Stacy (Shawn) Lee, Heather (Jeremy) Meintsma.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Doris and Eldon Lee; infant sister, Barbara; brother-in-law, David Lee; and nephews, Quinten Thiesse.

A memorial service for Robert will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11AM at Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 4-6PM and one hour prior to the service. Interment at Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
