Ronald Allen Ellstrom

Ronald Allen Ellstrom, age 84, passed away in Pine River at Good Samaritan Society. Ron was born in Bagley to Joseph and Edna (Julin) Ellstrom. He married Shirley Zuelich on March 20, 1957 and together they had four children. Ron loved motorcycling, hunting, and fishing. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Cheryl (Michael) Miller, Sandy Meyer, Steve (Corina) Ellstrom, and Paula (Jerry) Steininger; siblings: Kenny (Yvonne) Ellstrom, and Susan Kaminski ; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Shirley, and brother Richard Ellstrom.

A memorial service for Ron will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The burial will be at Oak Land Cemetery.
