Ronald (Ron) Gene Purcell

Ronald G. Purcell passed away at the age of 36, on April 24, 2022. Succumbing to a seven month battle with glioblastoma cancer.
He was surrounded by family and close friends at his home in Crosby MN,
Ron was a very loving son and brother. A devoted husband to his high school sweetheart/wife of 21 years, Lacey R Purcell (Martin). An amazing father to their two sons, Aiden A. Purcell and Connor E. Purcell.
Ron loved the outdoors, fishing and especially hunting with his father Robert A Purcell, his sons and friend Jeff Jackson, and his life long friend/brother Jeremy Davidson.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Peggy Purcell (Bacon). Grandfather Russell A. Bacon, siblings Diane Isom (Gardner), Tabatha (Jason) Anderson, Jessica Gardner, Heather Stellmach (Gardner), as well as his half siblings, Matthew Gardner, Lacy Gardner and many more. He will be missed dearly every day, forever and always.
A celebration of life will be hold on May 7th, 2022 at 2:00pm at Lum Park in Brainerd (where Ron and I got married). We will have a potluck style snack bar that anyone can contribute to, RSVP to me at 218-251-2666 with attendance info, The celebration of life is a casual event and everyone should be dressed in comfortable clothes, camo, or a kilt. He wouldn't want anyone dressing all fancy.
