Roy P Van Keuren

Roy Patrick Van Keuren, age 78, of Garrison, MN passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Roy was born in Brainerd, on July 21, 1946, to Perry & Ruth (Probst) Van Keuren.

Roy worked 43 years for Honeywell/Alliant Tech as an Explosives Engineer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had many stories to tell of his adventures. He enjoyed cooking, was always trying new recipes and sharing them.

Roy is survived by his son, William (friend Heather) Van Keuren of Custer, SD; brother, Jerry (Maureen) Van Keuren of Pierz; sister, Linda (Victor) Lease of Milaca; 2 grandchildren, Paul, Jr. and Alexandra, 2 great-grandchildren and 3 nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, son, Paul Van Keuren and nephew, Robert Van Keuren.

He will be greatly missed by his family and all those he called his friends. Services will be private per Roy’s wishes.
