Ruth Anna Louise Gilbertson

We would like to annouce the death of our mother, Ruth Anna Louise Gilbertson who passed away at the age of 94 surrounded by family. She was born on January 13th, 1930, in Charter Oaks, Iowa. Our mom enjoyed a long full life being involved in the NFO, Farmers Union, county fair, master gardening, and helped organize the Brainerd Growers Market just to name a few hobbies and clubs. She supported her husband, Donald on the farm and Nokasippi Arabians many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents, Herman and Anna Timm; brothers, Paul, Edgar, Phillip, Herman Jr. and Robert; sister, Helen Brown.

She is survived by her son, James Gilbertson and wife Vicki; daughter, Sonjia Erickson, daughter, Jeanine Kyllingstad and daughter, Carol Wineinger and husband, Martin; brother, Donald Timm and wife Jeanine along with 9 grandchildren and 16 great -grandchildren.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd.
