Shelly Watson

Shelly Rae Watson, age 63 of Aitkin, passed away at home on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Shelly was born on June 17,1961, in Aitkin, Minnesota to Sarah (O'neil) and Irvan Rood.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tyrone Watson; parents, Irvan and Sarah (Doot) Rood; sisters, Tracy Zontelli and Jodi Calkins; brother, Kenneth Rood.

Shelly will be deeply missed by her children, Christina Rust, Maggie (Jordan) Hendrickson, Nathan Watson, and Jeramiah (Jacie) Watson; grandchildren, Cameron Rust, Mikayla Rust, Aaron Rust, EllaRae Rust, Audrina Hendrickson, Oakley Hendrickson, Emma Watson, Aylee Watson, Cole Bock, Harper Conrado; sister, Cindy (Vic) Fields; brother, Doug (Darcy) Rood.

Shelly was a 25 year employee of Timber Building Supply-Ace Hardware in Deerwood. Shelly enjoyed fishing, cooking, wood working, painting, needle work, quilting, and the meat raffles with her sisters. She really loved her time with her family and friends, especially the grandkids.

Funeral services for Shelly will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 30,2024, at Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood with visitation from 9:00-11:00AM. Interment will be at the Bennettville Cemetery in Aitkin.
