Shirley (Nelson) Warner passed away at Shiloh Assisted Living in Pequot Lakes, MN on August 1,2025.

Shirley was born in Ironton, MN on September 1, 1932 to Chris and Tessie (Detzler) Nelson. She married Clarence Warner on April 18, 1952. They made their home in Baxter, MN and Shirley worked for the Brainerd School System for 26 years. She enjoyed doing crafts and shopping with her sisters. She enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, friends, and family. She is survived by her children Renee Warner, Brenda (Tony) Thibodo and several grandchildren, great children and great great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her son Kim Warner, and stepdaughter Linda Bosch.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, next to her husband Clarence in Brainerd, MN. Funeral services will be held at Halverson-Taylor Funeral Home, 512 S 8th St. Brainerd, MN on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11 AM, with a visitation one hour prior to the services.

Arrangments have been entrusted with the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home.
