She was born on September 6, 1952 to Pauline (Peterson) and Vernon Lockwood in Brainerd, Minnesota.

A celebration of Suzanne's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the lower level of the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center, 512 S. 8th Street, Brainerd, MN. A lunch will follow the service.
