Thomas “Tommy” Griffey Eschenbacher

August 7th, 1996 – August 20th, 2025

Thomas “Tommy” Griffey Eschenbacher, 29, of rural Brainerd, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his immediate family on August 20th, 2025.

Tommy was a country boy who loved to be outside on his family farm working with cattle, deer hunting, caring for his apple trees and restoring old tractors. He was “Uncle Tommy” to his six nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them and teaching them many things. He loved sports and enjoyed watching football most of all. He always had a smile on his face and was loved by everyone who met him.

Tommy is survived by his parents, Mark and Nancy Eschenbacher of Brainerd, MN., siblings Nina (Casey) Chessor of Spruce, MI., Dylan (Lacey) Eschenbacher of Breezy Point, MN., Louis (Lexia) Eschenbacher of Barnum, MN., fiancée Mari Lou Jugurap of Cebu, Philippines, nephews and nieces, Gavin, Sophia, Liv, Charlotte, Freja, and Bo, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Irene Eschenbacher, Lyle and Beverly Krueger, and two aunts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 20th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the funeral home. Lunch will be served following the service.
