Thomas Leroy Michalson

Tom L. Michalson a 76 -year-old resident of Motley, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Staples, Minnesota on May 05, 1948 to Lois (Marmon) and Emory Michalson. He graduated from Motley High School in 1966. He worked at Bjerga Feed Store and Trident. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. You could always find Tom out working in his shop on old tractors and cars. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoons. Tom will always be remembered by his smile and love for life.

Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda of 53 years; children, Mickey (Melissa) Cash, Scott (Jenny) Michalson, Tanya (Jim) Sale; grandchildren, Ryann (Austin) Goodnight, Gracie Cash, Logan Michalson, Selena Michalson, Marissa Michalson, Caden Sale and McKenna Sale; great-grandson Walker Goodnight; siblings, Thana (Russ) Prochko, Steve (Dee) Michalson, Butch Buck, Dawn Johnson; many nieces and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Swanson and father Emory Michalson.

Memorial services for Tom will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Motley Free Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

Interment Poplar Cemetery, Leader, MN.
