Timothy Newman

Timothy (Tim) Dale Newman age 72, of Edina, passed away at the Lakewood Health Care System in Staples, Minnesota on April 2, 2020. Tim was born on December 4, 1947 in Brainerd, Minnesota where he was raised and graduated from Brainerd High School. He attended Pipestone Minnesota Vo-Tech for meat cutting school. After completion he worked in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He later ran his own butcher shop. His last job was driving bus for Medicine Lake Transportation. He married Susan Watery on June 5,1971. They enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Roland (Bud) and Eva (Brown) Newman; infant brother, Tom; and younger brother, Mark. Survived by his wife, Susan; brother, Alan; sisters, Cathy and Deb; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. Memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
