Tracy Converse

On Friday, May 1, 2020, Tracy C. Converse, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 62, after a short battle with cancer. Tracy was born on October 26, 1957, in Brainerd, Mn, to Charles and Alice Converse. He graduated from Brainerd High School. On June 25, 1983, he married Shelly A. Lomen and together they had four children: Adam, Rachel, Zachery, and Jacob. Tracy was an avid outdoorsman who spent much of his time in nature hunting and fishing with his brother, his sons, and his many friends. He was unendingly proud of his four children. Whenever they came home to visit, good times were had, laughing and joking, playing games, sitting around a campfire, or shooting at targets and clay pigeons near his home in Merrifield. He especially loved the many fishing trips to Canada with his brother, Rod and his sons. Tracy delighted in vacations with his daughter, Rachel. Tracy is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Alice Converse and nephew, Michael Converse. He is survived by his children, Adam (Nicole) Converse, Brainerd, MN, Rachel (David) Hood, New York, NY, Zachery Converse and Elizabeth Flournoy, Boulder, Co, and Jacob (Samantha) Converse, Minneapolis, MN. His grandchildren, Levi and Adelaide Converse and Desmond Rey Hood, His brother, Rodney (Avis) Converse, New Smyrna Beach, Fl, sister, Jody Converse, Brainerd, MN, niece Nicole (Mathew) Livengood, nephew, Lonnie (Wanda) Converse, three grand-nieces, Jocelyn, Lexi and Cori Converse, special friend Donna Yoho and many friends.
