Virginia C Hines

Virgina C. Hines, age 91, of Brainerd, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Virginia was born on June 17, 1932, in Pillager to Graydon and Hazel (Carner) Doland. She married Wesley Hines on September 17, 1949.

Virginia loved snowmobiling, horseback riding, camping, lighthouses and the North Shore. She enjoyed having coffee and cookies with family and friends. Virginia was kind and caring and willing to help anyone that needed help.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jody (Pat) Hines and Carole (Gene) Gangestad; grandchildren, Amy (Kevin) Ringler, Eric (Casie) Hines, Tambi (Steve) Herzenach, Nick Hines, Cory Hines, Aaron (Terry) Hines and Adam (Ashley) Gangestad; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Kyler, Lacie, Jordan, Xander, Kaylee, Grayden and Jazmyn.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Wesley; son, Gradon “Gary” Hines; brother, Harold Doland; grandson, Matthew Hines.

Funeral service for Virginia will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation one hour prior, interment at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

Memorials are preferred.
