Wendy J Muenchow

Wendy Jo Muenchow, age 64, of Brainerd passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2025, in Minneapolis. Wendy was born in Faribault, Minnesota on February 4, 1961, to Lois (Knutson) and Merlin Muenchow. Wendy was a Pre-School teacher for many years.

She enjoyed camping, golf cart rides, and campfires. She had four kids with Michael Petterson and they spent thirty years together. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Petterson; granddaughter, Mercedie Petterson; her parents; brothers, Rick and Thomas.

Wendy will be deeply missed by her children, Jeremy, Keith, Anna (Jeremy), and Krystle (Robert); grandchildren, Wyatt, Emmett, Kamden and Sylas; siblings, Stan, Leann, Edward, Kristi, and Michael.

A celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Hopkins VFW.
