Yvonne Kay Doust

Yvonne Kay Doust, age 62, of Brainerd, was an angel on earth, and now is an angel watching over us. Yvonne went to Heaven on June 7, 2021. She was born in Brainerd to Joseph & Mayme (Leppala) Popowski on March 15, 1959. She married her best friend and true love, Kenneth Doust on January 3, 1994, and together they had two sons. Yvonne was all about peace and love. She loved her husband, children and Lake Superior. Yvonne and Ken enjoyed motorcycling and attending concerts. She loved her rock and roll music! Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, Ken; sons: Joseph (Annie) and Joshua (Morgan); a baby grandson on the way, Carson Kenneth; many, many friends who are like brothers and sisters. Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lyle Walla. A gathering of Family and Friends in memory of Yvonne’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 10AM–12PM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center.
